Here are links to two different lengthy pieces on hashish by the great French poet of the late 1800's, Charles Baudelaire. Old, but not at all dated, somewhat lengthy (chemical accompaniment to these readings may be recommended), these are classics of their kind, in the same tradition as Thomas De Quincey's Confessions Of An Opium-eater or Gerardde Nerval's Aurelia.
